New pop up while launching SewerCAD

Dears,

I just noticed a new pop up when I launch Sewercad (in AutoCAD 2017). No harm in it and gives some sort of summary but wondering what triggered it and why not the other software running on same machine? Haven't updated or anything so why the launch routine changed to include this pop up

thanks

  • Hello A,

I have not encountered this before. Does this happen every time you open SewerCAD integrated with AutoCAD? Are you using a check in, check out type license?

Maybe it is some notification when a new profile (for SewerCAD)is created in AutoCAD?

Please allow us some time to investigate this further.

  • Hi,

It doesn't happen every time but sometimes. License is hosted on Bentley server. Actually that pop up touches on that saying no check out and no limit to expiry as it is perpetual license.

if you mean by new profile the SewerCAD palette generated in AutoCAD up on first launch or setting re-set, then no.

It lists some parameters that are mystery to me, like platform type, architecture, platform number, locale. It seems you have predefined values for the numeric values shown. May be architecture 1 means 64 bit while 2 means 32 and  so on.

This is not affecting any performance and I just thought of documenting what I saw before I move to the new update as this might not appear again.

    take your time~!

  • The "start desktop license" dialog that you show in your screenshot is a special debug screen that should only appear if you hold down the CTRL key when starting the application. Is it possible that you are sometimes holding down the control key as the application is starting? The window can be safely dismissed.
