I tried to saw my profile by inserting terrain file but I didn't understand why the program is forcefully inserting ground elevation at rim. I ave this problem in most of the profiles plot. Please find the following attachment.
1) Do you have "True" select for the node property "Update ground elevation from terrain model?"
2) If "yes" to #1, does it help if you move the node location very slightly? (which should trigger it to update the ground elevation)
3) What product and version are you using? (check under File > Help > About, or Help > About for older versions)
4) What type of terrain model are you using? (Bentley DTM? LandXML? Etc.)

Yes, when I slightly moved node it changed the elevation after Design and analysis run.I am using LandXML. But the ground profile showing abruptly changed at rim as in the previous figure.
To update the ground elevation do I need to draw the inlets and pipes over scaled background layers otherwise how it will update the ground elevations at the particular place.I used schematic network.
After importing from inroad I add few networks in stormCAD, now my ground elevations are little bit different due to some cut and fills, so I would like to update ground elevations for those inverts after cut fills, which I previously drew in existing ground.
And I also add two Landxml file one in stormCAD one with existing ground and other with proposed ground. Can I able to see both ground elevations for the same point in my profile.

To update elevations of existing elements, you can use Trex (Terrain Extractor).
The Terrain Model feature can be used when adding new elements to a model. In our upcoming CONNECT Edition Update 2 release (due at the end of this month or early November), we plan to introduce a feature where you can choose to re-apply a terrain model to existing elements, to update the ground elevations.
You are using an old version, and I recommend upgrading to the CONNECT Edition. The problems you're experiencing may have been fixed, plus you would be able to access other new features such as Catchment Delineation. If your organization has a SELECT subscription, the upgrade can be done at no additional cost. You can read more here: Downloading Haestad / Hydraulics and Hydrology Software

You can only have one active terrain model at a time. You could reopen the profile after changing your active Terrain model.
Can I open and work in my old model created in series 5 after updating to the newer connect edition because I already did lots of work in the previous version.
Yes, models are backward compatible (models can be opened in a newer version of the software). However, they are not forward compatible (for most cases they can't be opened in a version that is older than was last used to save the model).
See: Model backward / forward compatibility
Forward compatibility refers to the ability to open something that is saved in a newer (forward) version.

Can you suggest me the latest connect edition so that I can download it to update my series 5.
Can I able to download the connect edition without updating the old series 5 so that I can use both .
The latest version of StormCAD is 10.01.01.04, which can be downloaded from link mentioned below.

However only one version of the product can be installed at a time on system. You cannot use both SELECT Series 5 & Connect Edition version on the same system.
Bentley Technical Suppport
Thank you so much as already Calvin suggest that models are forward compatible. Once again I would like to confirm the model that I created in series 5 will compatible in newer version 10.01.01.04. Right now I am at the middle of my work. Can I download the newer version and complete my rest of the work in new version?
To use InRoad files I am currently using 32 bit.Is there any difference the model created in 32 bit and 64 bit?
As suggested by Craig already, model created in SS5 can be opened in new version directly being forward compatible.
You can upgrade to the latest version and start working on your models from previous version, without any issue. But it is always recommended that you make a copy of your models saved in old versions as backup.
About 32-bit Vs 64-bit, models created in both versions are exactly same and you shouldn't find any difference in that.
