Multiple Terrain Models

Hello,

Can I able to use two different terrain models files at same time? I would like to show existing ground elevations and proposed ground elevations for the same inlets and pipes in my profile plots.

Thank you,

Hari

  • Hello Hari,

Two terrain models cannot be active at the same time, elements can take elevations from only one terrain model at the moment.

  • Hello Hari,

As my colleague Sushma pointed out, you cannot apply two terrain models simultaneously to a manhole ground elevation (as there can be only one value for ground elevation). However, if you have multiple terrains such as proposed levels and existing levels then you can create a scenario where you can apply the Existing Terrain levels to your manholes.

Note that you would have to create a separate physical alternative so that your original physical alternative (where the proposed ground elevations are captured as ground elevations) is not disturbed.

    Hope this helps.
