Design Conduit

Question

Hello all, 
 I only want to design conduit.Do I need to check mark on start invert and stop invert? 
 
 Also, after importing drainage network from inroad I create some of them but the program didn't allowed me to put length, width and grate length for those inlets which I created in stormCAD. Please help me out.

Hello Hari, 
 Check mark on set invert to start and stop confirms that start invert level of conduit is same as that of starting catch basin, so you should check it on while designing the conduits, unless you want start invert of conduit to be different than start catch basin. 
 About inlets created in StormCAD, you have inlet type set to 'PERCENT CAPTURE" for those inlets, so lengths and width options are not applicable to that type, since capture efficiency is mentioned for percent capture type and not length. Please change the inlet type to catalog inlet.

 Are you referring to automated design? Meaning, do you want StormCAD to only design the conduit sizes, and not the inverts? If so, the property you want to change is "Design start invert" and "Design stop invert". You would set those to False. See: 
 Is there any way to only adjust the pipe size without changing the invert?
