I assigned my own inlet size and I don't want to design inlet. Does the design constraint called minimum efficiency on grade matters in my case?
Please find the following attachment.
If yes, then how it will play the role and what will be the range of values for it?
Hello Hari,
If you are not designing "Inlets" in your model then this constraint is not applicable to it. If you are designing inlets then the minimum efficiency will be considered. However, gutter width and spread are parameters which are independent of the inlet characteristics since they are measured upstream of the inlet before it captures the flow. Hence,"On Grade" inlets are designed for minimum efficiency as specified and not the minimum depth and spread.
Here is an article on Automated Design in StormCAD which can help you understand this more;

Here is another article which can help;
Why is it that no matter how large the inlet on grade is the gutter spread always remains the same?
Hope this helps.
