Channel looks like a conduit in profile section?

Hello,

I still did not get the point why channel looks like a conduit in my profile section?

Also why ground elevation is forcefully matched with inverts?

Please elaborate on what you are seeing that you do not believe is correct. If you referring to the solid black line at the top of CH-27 in your screenshot, that is typically controlled by the "height" parameter in the cross section properties (which would be defined in the headwall in your example case). If you want the top (black line) to match up with the ground elevation, you'll need to adjust the Height parameter accordingly. If this does not help, please include a screenshot of how the channel is configured.

Also why ground elevation is forcefully matched with inverts?

In your screenshot, it shows that the ground elevations are forcefully matching the rim elevation of the nodes. As mentioned in my reply to one of your other threads, make sure the catchbasin's "Update ground elevation from terrain model" is set to "True".
