Whats does the 'External tools' in Watergems do ? What function does it accomplish ? I havent been able to find much regarding its utility in the help documents or in the forum.

External Tools provides a shortcut for you to quickly access external executable files, primarily WaterObjects.NET tools (requires advanced programming experience and a BDN subscription). It is seldom used unless you have an external WaterObjects application you frequently need to launch.
