Hello Guys,
I am doing a project for my Waste Water Engineering course, i'm a 4th year Civil Engineering student.
So after modeling my model and setting the environment for SewerCAD V8i 5.113, I'm facing a problem that all the covers for the conduits are exceeding 20m which does not make sense.
I'm totally new in SewerCad and my deadline is tomorrow, the project files are attached , any help will be appreciated!
Thank you,SewerCAD Files.zip
Hello,
In the model you have share I can see you have specified "Local Pipe Constraints" for all the conduits. You can globally specify "Design Constraints" under the "Components" Tab. Here you can globally specify the velocity, slope and cover constraints for all your pipes.
Additionally, after looking at your model I can see there are some manholes that your "cover" to the ground ranges from minimum 1.7 m to maximum 72.78 m. This is a quite high range. For this you have specified minimum and maximum cover values of 1.5 m and 6 m respectively. Hence it is showing as a violation for most of the conduits.
From the way you setup the model, I am guessing you wish to design the system as per the constraints provided. If you wish to "design" the system, you can choose the "Design" option in "Calculation Options" of the GVF-Convex Solver. This way your inverts, covers, pipe sizes, slopes and velocities would be optimized as per the parameters provided in the "Design Constraints".

Hope this helps.
