Is there a way to assign a valve an elevation based on the nearby node elevations?

I used Trex for most of my model elevations but some areas are outside of my topo range. I went ahead and modified the node elevations manually but now have added valves in those areas and would like to somehow link the node elevations to the valves if possible.  Thanks, Susanne

  • HI Sussane,

If you are adding valves above pipelines (splitting the pipes) the valves would automatically take the average elevation as per the upstream and downstream node elevations. But if you wish to assign specific elevations to valves you have to enter them manually.

It would be best if you can get the elevations for your "out-of-scope" elements via TReX. Maybe extend the area for the terrain to include these points.
