View junction results- Emitter Discharge

Hi Bentley System,

I am using WaterGEMs connect edition to model my water distribution network. I assigned consumer demands to nodes using Pressure Dependent Demand feature. Also I assigned emitter coefficients to nodes to represent the leakages of the network.

After simulating the model, is there a method to separate the total nodal demand in to Pressure Dependent consumer demand and emitter discharge? ( I want to split the total demand into leakage and consumer demand)

Thank you,

Harsha

  • Hi Joshi,

Thank you very much for your reply.

However, are you modeling the PDD function for leakage?

Just to clarify above, I have assigned PDD function to the domestic demands using Pressure Dependent Demand alternative. Because I thought the domestic demand is also pressure dependent, that people tend to use more water when there is high pressure in system and vise versa.

I set my calculation options to "New Steady State/EPS_PDD Solver - 1"

In addition I assigned emitter coefficient to nodes to represent leakages.

Hope this is ok. Please comment if you see any issue in this regard.

    Kind regards,

    Harsha
