StormCAD/Pond Pack

Hello all,

The connecting channel and gutter length in model matters the pipe design or (channel/gutter).OR, these elements were just to route the flow?

Please, find the following attachment.

Also,

In pondpack, I am not able to print out the details that I setup in combined structure.

For example, orifice elevation, riser elevation, no.of orifice used, culvert elevation, culvert length etc.Is there anyway to printout these results?

Help me to solve these problems.

Thank you,

Hari

  • Hello Hari,

Do you mean that you are not able to print the culvert details inside Composite outlet structure?

Do you want to see the results individually for culvert, orifice or for the entire composite structure which consists of orifice and culvert etc.

If you click on Composite structure, then you can generate a report of that which will have information about culverts and orifices within that.

If this is not what you are looking for then please elaborate your query.

With StormCAD, the length of the channels will impact the results, as the velocity and travel time (and resulting change in System Intensity) are calculated just as they are with the Conduit elements. As for gutters, the travel time does not come into play - gutters in StormCAD are simply used to direct where the bypass flow from one inlet goes to.

In pondpack, I am not able to print out the details that I setup in combined structure.

As Sushma mentioned, more details on this would be helpful. If you are trying to use the report function in the composite outlet editor and it is not working, please provide details on what you see and the steps you take, and whether the same problem occurs in a sample model. Note that you can also report composite outlet structure detailed in the Report Builder tool in PondPack.
