I have 5 catchments going to 1 outlet. WHen i run the hydrology and graph the outlet, it show a maximum flow total out. Why can I not get this result to show in my outlet labels or properties?

Thanks.

  • Hello Brian,

What product are you using? If this is SewerGEMS or CivilStorm, this may be related to the setup of the system. You will likely be seeing a red user notification about a missing conduit for the outfall. If that is the case, you will need to adjust the system to include a new outflow node (like a transition or a manhole) and a conduit attached to this element and the outfall. The model will then run and you will see results at the outfall.

Another solution would be modeling this is in PondPack, which does allow for connecting catchments directly to outfalls without seeing the same issue. If you are doing pond design and not modeling a storm-sewer system, this might be the best option.
