HI, I'm curently using Openroads designer (*** include Subsurface Utility and model builder) and I want to import excel data or access data. I have office 360 and the latest excel and access versions.
But everytime I try to import either access, excel, or html the software is asking me to use acess 2010 64 bit, is there a work around? Are ther any planed updates on this?
Thanks
That message indicates that you are using the 64-bit version of the program, and in order to interact with Access data sources such as Excel, you will need to have the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Access Database Engine component installed. By default, only the 32-bit version is installed, due to a Microsoft issue/limitation with the order of installation. To resolve the issue, uninstall the 32-bit Access Database Engine, install the 64-bit version, then reinstall the 32-bit version. Reopen OpenRoads Designer and try again. This is explained in more detail in the following article from our Wiki (see "Option 2...") - ModelBuilder/SCADAConnect error: Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 64-bit is required to access this data source
