Hi all I got this notification any one can direct me how to solve ? "There should be only one non-diversion type conduit out of a gravity junction." Hydraulics Validation
Omaima Alsasami,
I assume you are using SewerCAD or StormCAD when you see this message. The message pertains to how the solver resolves "split flows" if you have more than one conduit coming out of a node element, like a manhole. One of these must be set to be a diversion so that the solver can assign the correct flows to each of the downstream conduit elements.
Here is a Wiki article to explain this in further detail.
If this is not so, please reply back with the product and version you are using along with a copy of your model (instructions for uploading model files) and we will pursue it further.
Thank-you,
Larry

Hello Omaima,
Thank you for uploading the model files. In this model, you have setup to model diversion at conduit CO-52 (because user notification at MH-B2) , but there is no branch to this conduit to model the diversion.
However I see that you have modeled a looped network which connects manholes MH-K1 and MH-W, because of which you are receiving this error.
So if you are removing CO-55 which should make it a branch of MH-W solely as per the terrain slope, then you should no longer face this issue.
