i want to divide conduits in specific intervals in sewerGEMS Please help

  • Hi Mayank,

When you say you wish to divide conduits do you mean with manholes? or bends?

If you wish to divide a conduit with manholes you can simply place a manhole on top of the existing conduit and it will split the conduit into two. This way you can have division at specific intervals.

In SewerGEMS currently the functionality of laying manholes at equal intervals or having conduits of same scaled lengths is not available. You would have to use the integrated versions of SewerGEMS with MicroStation or AutoCAD to achieve this. Being CAD based platforms you can have this equal spacing or spacing at specific intervals in the integrated platform.

Does this answer your query? If not please elaborate on your query.

  • This could be accomplished with Element Property Inferencing and, if needed, batch morph. You would delete the conduit in question, then use Element Property Inferencing to lay out the desired number of manholes. See also: Automatic inlet spacing
