Is there a standard color coding properties for WaterGEMS (eg. pipe diameter, pressure, headloss) etc.
Hello Jonah,
There isn't any standard element symbology i.e. color coding and annotations of the elements as it totally differs from project to project and person to person.
However if you create a standard a color coding for elements in WaterGEMS like pressure at junctions, diameter of pipes, headloss, velocity, flow through pipes etc., then you can save this color coding and annotations as a seed file, which then can be used every time you are working on a new project or when you are creating a new model.
Basically if you are using seed file for new models, then you don't need to create color coding, annotations, user data extensions, default units for each model separately. You just need to import the seed file and start working on the model. Which can also be shared among your colleagues as standard format for your project.
Here is information about creating seed file and using it for new projects and sharing it within the company.

Hi Sushma, thank you for this, I was hoping for an international standard color coding practice, if there is.. still thank you very much for the insight!
