Hello, does anyone know if it is possible to model an arch drain in Flowmaster? The presumption would be that it is not fully pressurized. Thanks!
Edit: Looking at the detail a little closer, it's actually referred to as an arch culvert.
Hello Matthew,
There isn't a separate section for arch shape in Flowmaster, however you can use the elliptical pipe worksheet and Flowmaster also can generate rating tables.

In FlowMaster, you can also try using the Irregular Pipe worksheet. This enables you to enter the cross sectional area, which could be an arch shape.
If this is actually a culvert and you need to consider the hydraulics of the headwall (for example to check for headwater), I recommend using CulvertMaster. CulvertMaster uses the standard HDS-5 method which includes Arch as one of the standard shapes.
