Surge study for sewage transmission line

Hello

i would like to study a surge effect in sewage transmission line consist from lefting station of 1 submarsible pump .. water will be pumped by the submarsble pump for 1.5 km to a manhole . how can i model that submarsable pump in water hammer??

    You can connect the submersible pump to an upstream reservoir with a short, large diameter, frictionless pipe so as to have minimal hydraulic impact. Select an appropriate (perhaps conservative) water surface elevation for your reservoir, to act as the boundary condition. See more in our Wiki here: Modeling a submersible pump
