catchment color map

I assume all of your catchments have different areas. So just set up color coding for catchments based on area. That's worked well for me.

Or set up a user defined field and enter some number for each catchment. Then do color coding based on that field.

That could work. In the note, is there a way to rotate a named view for a report?

There is no way to rotate a named view in StormCAD standalone version. 

However if you are having integration of StormCAD with Microstation or AutoCAD then you can rotate the model there and save the named view. However once you are rotating the model it will be rotated for all the named views, not for a single. 

If this is not what you are looking for, then please elaborate the query.

This link has some general information on this, and includes a few other options that may work as well, such as exporting the catchments into a shapefile, adjusting them as needed, then reimporting them using ModelBuilder.

• On the subject of coloring catchment polygons, see also: Changing the width of the border lines of catchments or other polygon elements
• On the subject of rotating a named view: MicroStation integration in particular would be helpful for this, as you can apply a rotation to a view of the model. The view could essentially replace your Named View and show the desired rotation. You can also apply different element symbology definitions to different views, as seen in the section "View Associations in SewerGEMS for MicroStation" here. MicroStation platform version compatibility information can be found here: Platform Compatibility
