Computed outflow volume vs Target is showing "Fail"

My Computed outflow volume vs Target is showing "Fail"

Please Sir, What's the criteria to make that pass. or does it really matter in the design?

  • Hello Simon,

    If you look at the "Post-Development-1" scenario, the "Computed Peak Outflow vs. Target" two columns to the left of what you have marked is showing as "Fail". You can check for this criteria for your pond design. You can see that the computed peak outflow is higher than the target.

    You can adjust this by either reducing the pond size, refining your outlet structure elements (such as riser, orifice) to bring this value below the target value which will show this scenario as "Pass".

    See the below video to understand how this can be done using PondMaker;

    For more details on using the PondMaker tool see the below article;

    Using PondMaker

    Hope this helps.

  • Thank you for your reply but my concern is the 9th column to the right before "Routing outlet structure" column. for Post-Development 2.....
