"Specified account already exists" error installing WaterCAD 10.02.03.06

Hi!

Thank you for update but there seems to be some problem in installation. I am getting error via CL, then I tried direct download and installation but error keeps poping out. Something regarding "Account already exist". Here is snapshot and LINK to log file. Thank you!

  • UPDATE: error is the same in every other OpenFlow software :(  ??

  • Hi Igor, when you say that the error occurs in every other OpenFlows software, do you mean that it happens when installing the new 10.02.03 version of any of the other OpenFlows products? (which were just released)

    Based on the error log file, please try the following:

    1) Ensure that you have adequate free disk space on the drive that you are installing WaterCAD to

    2) Manually uninstall any previous WaterCAD version that you have installed.

    3) Restart your computer and try again

    4) If that does not work, try manually downloading and installing the latest CONNECTION Client version, then try reinstalling WaterCAD

  • Igor, in addition to my previous reply - our developers would like you to also try manually installing the latest CONNECT Advisor component, as the error log indicates that the failure occurs when trying to install this. This is a tool available in WaterCAD and is installed automatically along with WaterCAD, but is failing for some reason. You can download it separate from our download site here: https://softwaredownloads.bentley.com/en/ProductDetails/2543

    Be sure to choose 64-bit for the architecture dropdown to download and install the 64-bit version, assuming you are using the 64-bit version of WaterCAD (most likely). If the separate CONNECT Advisor installation also fails, please provide any additional details and/or log files if possible. If you are not able to, we will provide a method you can use to generate extended log information.

  • Sorry for the third reply, but if the last part of my previous reply does not help (manually installing CONNECT Advisor first), you should be able to find a separate CONNECT Advisor installation log file here:

    C:\Users\igor\AppData\Local\Temp\WaterCAD CONNECT Edition Update 2_20191205094046_000_CONNECT_Advisor_x64.log

    Providing a copy of this file may be useful in diagnosing the problem.

  • Dear Jesse.

    Thank you for your help. Unfortunately installation of CONNECT Advisor failed. I am sending you log file of CONNECT Advisor (LINK 1) and of CONNECT Advisior install (LINK 2). I am not comfortable in uninstalling all of products as I had huge problem last week (service ticket 7000986518) due to we had almost a week without WaterCAD. If it is possible to do it without reinstalling, I would be thankful, if not, then I would rather skip latest update and wait for new one in next Q.
