Manning formula for depth/rise

Hello community,

We are a company in Israel trying to find a correct calculation for depth/rise in the program SewerGems for GVF-Rational

After reading this article:

https://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/30702/design-depth-of-flow-based-on-average-and-full-flow?tempkey=c6610ec2-39d3-44d0-8fbe-8fde7f7fe0ee

I would like to ask if anyone succeded setting up the manning formula for d/D, q/Q and v/V and can show step by step how to do it?

Thank you

  • What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? What problem are you trying to solve with SewerGEMS?

Graphs of d/D, q/Q and v/V are available in pretty much any sewer hydraulics book. It's Figure 2.12 on page 47 in Bentley's Wastewater Collection System Modeling and Design book.
