Negative Flow in tank Top inlet fill

I have an issue in the model, If you check the T-1 & T-3 inlet it was connected as a top inlet. When I run the simulation for avg daily demand I don't have any issue. However, when I check the properties of the tank the inlet pipe it shows negative flow. Even I tried to adjust the discharge co-efficient factor seems no change in the result. Moreover, I have issues with velocity and pressure in the model. Please check the Model uploaded in the following link.

  • Hello Ragavendra,

I am seeing positive flow in the inlet pipes for both T-1 and T-3 in the model provided (using the average daily demand scenario). One thing you can try is to move just the .wtg and .wtg.sqlite files into a new folder, then recompute the model. If there is an issue with one of the supporting files, this may help. You can also try upgrading to the latest version.

Also, let us know if you are getting any red user notifications. I am not seeing any, but if you are, the results should not be trusted until it is resolved.

Regarding the pressure and velocity results, are there any specific elements you are concerned with? I am not seeing negative pressures or other extreme results, but if you are getting any red user notifications, you may see results that don't make sense.

    Regards,

    Scott
