I am just starting out with CivilStorm for Stormwater Management Design (land development) and even though it is a very powerful program, getting the information in a standard report suitable for submitting to reviewing agencies is something that I cannot figure out. It seems very convoluted and it seems one will have to create something from scratch. There is so very much information available which makes it nearly impossible to find exactly what you need. FYI, used to hydraflow hydrographs and hydrocad, which are less powerful, but very user friendly when it comes to printout. Thanks for any help.
Hello Neil,
We do have a host of features which can be useful for you. For report generation you can build custom reports with information you choose to show such as graphs, profiles, inlet data etc. See the below article for this;
Creating Custom Reports
By "Summary" if you mean the "hydraulic model inventory" or "scenario summary" then you can find these options under the Report tab of CivilStorm.
I can understand that getting to know the interface and the functions for building and analyzing your model in CivilStorm can be little confusing in the beginning. This is why we have developed an article which has all the resources such as learning content, YouTube videos etc. to share with new users of our product;
Learning Resource Guide for new users of CivilStorm
Kindly go through the above link, it will guide you in learning CivilStorm with the resources provided.
Hope this helps.
