I have sewer cad v 5.5 file (.swr) and I need to convert in sewergems connected edition - or need to used old file in new version - after following the full path instruction and C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\StewerGEMS.exe, I am facing a following error;

A V5.5 file is opened by manually pasting in the full path to the .SWR file in the file open dialog. This is explained in the following related article from our Wiki: Unable to open .SWR or .STM file or "Database format not recognized or read-only"
If as discussed above if you are not able to open the .swr file directly, please upload model files in the folder for our testing.

There are multiple .swr files you have sent, I could open few files without any error with SewerGEMS connect edition latest version, didn't receive the error you mentioned.
Could you please confirm which specific model you are having issues with and exact version of SewerGEMS you are using?
