"base" cannot solve network hydraulic equations at base

Question

Hi, 
 I am having issues with my system. I am getting the error " cannot solve network hydraulic equations at base. We are pretty new to using waterGems and can't find how to fix it. We don't get any errors when running an analysis. 
 There are four files to this system, but only able to load one not sure which one you need.

Hello Valerie, 
 There could be multiple things like data entry issues, incorrect data, pipes which have zero flows after model computing, or tanks are becoming full or empty rapidly, lack of controls over tank operation etc. The user notifications shall help you locate the errors, double click on the user notifications received after computing the model that shall locate problematic elements.

 About model files, .wtg.sqlite file is also required to open the model, if the above doesn't help then upload this file as well.

Hello Valerie, 
 The issue is with pump definition type, you have set to use constant power, c onstant power pump curves are less accurate and should be avoided whenever possible, as mentioned in the Help. 
 This type of pump curve was available in EPANET and KYPIPE, so it has been available in WaterCAD and WaterGEMS to support users who may need to use it for a quick check. 
 When I changed the pump definition type to Design Point (1 point) to check quickly, provided design flow and head based on your model hydraulics, I could compute the model without any error message. 
 You need to work on pump controls though, there are fluctuations in model results every time step.
