Hello,
I am a new CivilStorm Connect user. I have been trying to use a soil map I created in ArcGIS as a shapefile background in CivilStorm. I can load the shapefile in CivilStorm; however, I cannot see it around my project area. I used "View>Zoom Extents" to find where the shapefile is drawn without any success.
What am I missing here?
Are there step-by-step instructions or a detailed document explaining how different files can be used as background in CivilStorm?
Thanks,
Kerem
Hi Kerem,
If a background does not display as expected, sometimes a video driver update can help.
This Wiki article contains instructions for doing so.
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

It is also possible that the model and shapefile are in different coordinate systems. You may want to compare the coordinates of the model to the coordinate of the shapefile and check that the correct unit was selected as well. See: When importing a DXF or shapefile as a background, it does not show up in the model, even when pressing zoom extents.
