Dear sir / madam,
I am using CivilStorm (Explicit SWMM Solver) for running a storm sewer network and I noticed hugh EGL and HGL jumps all location. So what I found out is that there are no outflow leaving the system, and the inflow of several thousand cfs into the network when it should only be less than 20 cfs in total really. The model was imported from Geopak Drainage and I tried to look for the any input that might be causing this but cannot find.
Hello Andrew,
It appears that there is overflow at some points in the model, could you please check overflow volume using steps mentioned in below wiki. Pipes are also surcharged so there is flow through pipes.
How to find volume (such as overflow volume) through specific elements
Could you please browse through the time browser (Analysis > Times) to see outflow through the system, as you mentioned you do not see outflow?
What are the user notifications received after computing the model? That would direct you to problematic elements, double click on the notification that would zoom in the element having issues.
Please check for data entry issues using information provided in below wiki.
