When will dynamic characteristics of Check Valves be included in Hammer?

We note that an enhancement to Hammer for the inclusion of dynamic characteristics of check valves (#202422) has been logged in the past (see discussion under Hammer - Check Valve Characteristics - Reverse Velocity vs Deceleration)

We are very interested in this enhancement to the software and wish to know the status of its development and the expected date for its release in HAMMER?

Thanks

  • Hello Graeme,

The mentioned enhancement about inclusion of dynamic characteristics of check valves (#202422) has been approved by our development team, to be added into Hammer program.

We cannot comment about expected date of release as it is still not on priority as there are multiple others in the queue first.

But we can make sure that you will be notified via mail whenever this feature is added to the program in future.

Meanwhile you can incorporate closure and opening time of check valve, more information on about this is provided below, if you haven't gone through it yet.
