Sysem got hanged while creating Grid & Grid Data

Hello Avikant, I can confirm that we received your file and will take a look at this. In the meantime, can you confirm any specifics on the steps taken to reproduce the issue? How long did you wait before terminating the task? Can you confirm that the OpenFlows FLOOD process was not using any CPU (from the Windows Task Manager) while the apparent hang was occurring? What version of OpenFlows FLOOD are you using?

1) what are you trying to accomplish? Generating a DTM?

2) What tool is the user using? Please provide screenshots of the process if needed.

3) Are you able to generate computational grid files? (prior to generating grid data files, a computational grid file needs to be generated).

4) If you cannot generate the grid data files, what steps are you taking to generate it? It should be:

a) generate computational grid;
b) load XYZ data;
c) create grid data from XYZ (basically, interpolating the XYZ data to the computational grid file) 

or alternatively:

a) generate grid;
b) load RASTER file;
c) create grid data from RASTER (basically, interpolating the RASTER  data to the computational grid file)

If you are looking to create grid data from a shapefile, a previous existing grid data needs to be loaded (as well as the desired shapefile with the data);

If you are simply looking to create a DTM from a shapefile, the steps should be to first convert the shapefile to XYZ, then load XYZ layer, generate grid, and finally, create grid data from XYZ. That information is available here: How to create a digital terrain model in OpenFlows FLOOD

We have to create grid for study area shp file(sent by secure uppload).now have created grid for 40% of study area It took some time but we able to create it.Now we are creating Grid data by loading raster file but still it is taking too much time .

Can you create Grid for study area ,and creating grid data for same and then compare time require for creating Grid and Grid data .I have uploaded raster file ,study area shp file & Building Footprint shp file.
