SewerGEMS model set-up in GVF-Convex with two many diverted Conduits from manholes to different outfalls, need to switch solvers, not sure what the best solver to switch to, or the additional set up that is required! thanks!
It is a sanitary model with all gravity pipes and manholes, it has some manholes out falling to a wet well, and others flowing to a gravity outfall. there is a lot of diversion routes and instead of making diversion links on many many different conduits i chose to change the solver to a dynamic solver and was looking for some help with that, i will post to forum but would also like to make a service request for this as well thanks and much appreciated!
Hello,
Using the Implicit or Explicit solver should work. These are able to model loops and diversions automatically. The following links has information on the differences between the solvers available in SewerGEMS: Differences between solvers: GVF-Convex vs. GVF-Rational vs. Implicit vs. Explicit (SWMM).
Regards,
Scott
when i switch to the dynamic solver, i still get errors on my model, is the in-flow set up to the manholes the same between the two solvers?
What are the error messages you are seeing? A screenshot would be sufficient.
my node flows are being ignored
