i could be setting up the solver wrong, i have tried to compact the database but nothing pops up out of the ordinary.

There could be some data entry issues with the model that might cause this error.

Do you remember adding any data or element in the model after which this error is received?
Send us the error log file, locate it after error is seen, using link mentioned below.

Is this a model-specific issue? If so, try the following. Browse to where the model files are saved, then create a new folder and copy just the .stsw and .stsw.sqlite files into the new folder. Then open the model from the new folder location. If there is an issue with one of the supporting files, this may help.
Otherwise, we may need to see a copy of the model files.

If you are still encountering this issue, having a copy of the model will certainly help (I do not see one uploaded yet). Please be sure to provide steps to reproduce as well.
I also noticed in your log file that you appear to be using a slightly older version, 10.02.01.04. If possible, I recommend upgrading in case there was a fix that impacts the issue in question (and so that you can leverage other enhancements and new features.
