Wet Well Elevation (Initial) Error

Dear Colleagues,

I am getting this error while switching between different scenarios "Invalid wet well operating range. (Minimum < Initial < Maximum)." Pressure Engine". The error is because the model automatically update/change the Elevation (Initial) of wet wells. Every time I correct it and again it changes automatically. Is there any option to fix Elevation (Initial) or all elevations for all or specific scenarios?

See in the below screenshot, where the actual value entered for Elevation (initial) was 532.5 m but it changes automatically to 535.0 m.

Regards,

  • Hi Farhan Aziz,

The issue might be that the value needs to be carried out more decimal places.

Right-click on the Elevation field and click Units and Formatting.

Change the Display Precision field from 2 to 3 or 4 and see if it holds the value you key-in.

Please reply back to this thread and let us know whether this helps.

    Thank-you,
    Larry

  • Hey Farhan Aziz,

After my initial response, I re-read your description and noticed that the value is jumping back to 535.00 (2 meters higher than the Max) rather than it just being a decimal place/rounding issue.

Does this happen with any other model?  Please open one of the Sample files (C:\Program Files(x86)\Bentley\WaterCAD\Samples) and let us know if you see the same issue.

If you find that it is specific to one model, please follow the instructions in this Wiki article to forward a copy of the model to us for analysis.

    Thank-you,
    Larry
