I recently got a new error that I had not seen before: "Pump fixed target flow is too low to require the pump to operate." Is there a comprehensive list of user notifications and their meanings anywhere that I can look to for an explanation of any user notification?
I have the same question.
Hi Nastassja and Gary,
There is no published "list" of User Notifications and their meanings, but if you search our OpenFlows | Hydraulics and Hydrology Wiki for the words "User Notification" you can find a list of User Notifications about which we have written Wiki articles. The best way to find their meaning is to search all of the Wiki articles for a text string contained within the User Notification message.
I recently got a new error and I am wondering what it means: "Pump fixed target flow is too low to require the pump to operate."
Hi Nastassja Abercrombie,
The user notification you report occurs in a sample model for me when the fixed flow setting is zero. Is this is the case for you?
It might be helpful to see your model. Please upload using these instructions.
No my flow setting is 500 gpm. I guess I just thought with a fixed flow, the target flow rate could never be too low as long as like you are saying it is greater than 0.
