Storm water network modelling in WaterGEMS

Dear Bentley Team,

We want to design the storm water drainage system for one area and we want to understand the flooding scenarios/problems on the area with software,  Please confirm whether we can do it in WaterGEMS software ?

if Yes, please provide any method to modelling flood condition (or before going to storage tank flood will occur or not in the area).

Thank you

  • Hi Jayakanthan,

WaterGEMS only models pressurized water networks. If you want to model surface flooding, you would want to use SewerGEMS, CivilStorm or OpenFlows FLOOD.

Can you provide more information to help us understand what you are trying to do? Is this about flooding caused by a burst water pipe? Are you pumping stormwater through a pressurized network?
