Hello guys!
First of all i'd like to apologize for my english...
I have a problem in my model... actually i am modelling a pressure system who does a transition to a gravity system, but i dont find a way to do that in WaterGEMS. First i tried to put a tank in transition point, but this doesnt work. I tried ot put a reservoir too, but for that i need to simulate 110 L/s in the pipe system.
How is the best way to do that transition?

I really appreciate your help.
Unfortunately i dont have sewerGEMS/CAD here... can you give more details about de option 3 that you told me.
Hello Samuel,
WaterGEMS can model part-full flow downstream of an active air valve. Air valves can be added to a model to help better model pumps trying to pump over a high point in the system. This link has more information: Modeling air valves at high points in WaterCAD and WaterGEMS.
If you were to model just the pressure system in the sewer model, you could omit the gravity portion completely. With the pressure part of the system, you can end it with a reservoir with an elevation set to the water level at the discharge point or use a discharge to atmosphere element.
That said, if you need to model both the pressure and gravity portions of the system, the best option would be to use SewerCAD or SewerGEMS.

Scott
