"Demand Distribution (Start) (%)" field

Watercad 10.03.01.08 64-bit

In the "Demand" Alternative, "Customer Meters" tab, there is a column labeled "Demand Distribution (Start) (%)".

What does this do? I cannot find anything in Help that describes its purpose or what it does.

  • Hello Gary,

What you can do with this field will depend on what the customer meter is associated with. If the customer meter is associated with a junction, the Demand Distribution (Start) field will not be editable. This is because all of the demand will be associated with the junction. If the customer meter is associated with a junction, this field can be ignored.

If the customer meter is associated with a pipe using a lateral and tap, you can define how the demand is distributed between two junctions. The default for Demand Distribution (Start) is 50%. You can enter another value and the field for Demand Distribution (Stop) will update automatically.

I have updated this link with information related to this.

    Regards,

    Scott
