Sir, can you tell me the steps to identify water losses and how to perform a chlorine check .
Hello Khushwant,
We have several well documented articles on water loss management and leak detection in WaterGEMS. See the below links for details on these;

By a "chlorine check" do you wish to know the concentrations of chlorine at your junctions? To accomplish this you have to enter your initial concentration typically at a source like a tank / reservoir where dosing usually happens, enter the wall and bulk reaction rates for the constituent you are modeling (chlorine in your case) and perform constituent analysis. However, to model this you would need to collect some sample data usually by bottle tests and use that to accurately model constituents and their concentrations in the system. See the below article for details on how you can setup your model for such analysis;
Getting data and setting up for a Constituent Analysis in WaterGEMS and WaterCAD
Hope this helps.

can you tell me the steps in brief for performing a chlorine check on my network??
It depends on how your system is setup. What are your constituent sources? Is there chlorine dosing at a tank or a valve? What are the initial concentration levels?
You can check out the article I shared in the above response for details on what data you require before performing such an analysis.
Additionally, go through the Quick Start Lessons to understand the steps (with an example) to perform constituent analysis in WaterGEMS.
