Opening a SewerGEMS file in ArcMap

Hello, this is Sergio from Lebanon, your loyal Bentley client!

I am reaching out to ask you a few questions regarding SewerGEMS and ArcMap;

1)I have designed a collection system on SewerGEMS; how can I open a SewerGEMS file inside ArcMap? If you can please guide me into this and let me know everything, I should be aware of

2)Do you have any knowledge regarding the upstream tracing feature in ArcMap? If I want to perform an upstream tracing analysis for my model but inside of ArcMap...

I would really appreciate any help I would receive,

Waiting to hear from you,

Kind Regards

Sergio Aoun

    You will need to first integrate SewerGEMS with a compatible version of ArcMap (see this). Once using SewerGEMS for ArcMap, you can add an existing model from the SewerGEMS Hydraulic Model menu > Add Existing Hydraulic Model. See the "Opening an existing WaterGEMS or SewerGEMS model..." from the FAQ page here:

    SewerGEMS for ArcGIS Pro and SewerGEMS for ArcMap [FAQ]

    2)Do you have any knowledge regarding the upstream tracing feature in ArcMap? If I want to perform an upstream tracing analysis for my model but inside of ArcMap...

    I cannot speak for any ArcMap tools but the SewerGEMS querying tools are also available when working in SewerGEMS for ArcMap.

  • Thank you so much for your kind assistance, as usual, Jesse! It really means a lot!

    One last question regarding the display in SewerGEMS of a model,

    If you can see the model's snapshot, how can I similarly display the symbology annotation on the left of my model as you can see in the snapshot? This means a legend schedule indicating the symbol of the manhole, outfall, pump, pipe diameters, and so on...

    I would really appreciate your help!
