There should be only one non diversion type conduit out of a gravity junction.

Good day

I am writing from Colombia, I am modeling a sector of a sanitary sewer system and I get the Message 51022 "There should be only one non-diversion type conduit ourt of a gravity junction". This was presented in multiple wells, I am working in GVF-Convex in this model, perform the Diversion link solution with the table, in some specific points but in the manhole P914 the message 51022 is still presented, I attach the corresponding model because of which days Previously I was modeling a storm sewer and it was very helpful with the experience of a teacher to find the solution at the exact point due to his greater experience in managing the program.

I will be attentive to your responses. Thank you

  • Hello Jefry,

    This is likely to happen if you have more than one conduit coming out of your manhole and you have not setup diversion rating curve/s for them. If you have say three conduits coming out of a manhole two of them should have a diversion rating curve defined because the GVF-Convex and GVF-Rational solvers do not automatically handle splits.

    Check points where you have more than one conduits downstream of your manholes and set them with appropriate diversion rating curves. At any point there should only be one non-diversion conduit which means the rest of them should have diversion rating curves. See the below wiki article for more details on this;

    User notification: "There should be only one non-diversion type conduit out of a gravity junction"

    Let me know if this helps.
