in HAMMER, I am getting Error Message 45578 "There is an error in the data for this pipe. The associated data is incorrect." This only occur when I have the pumps in the model set at a fixed speed. If I model the pumps as variable speed, no error occurs. The pipe data is the same. It is a pipe connected to a hydropneumatic tank.

What version of HAMMER are you using? (File > Help > About). The latest is 10.03.05.03.

If you are using a tee pipe connected to the hydropneumatic tank, the problem may be related to how close the flow is to zero in the initial conditions, which can be impacted by the convergence/stability of the initial conditions.
