Hi,
I have three VSPs in parallel and as far as I can tell they follow the criteria outlined in this article for VSPs.
https://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/38721/modeling-variable-speed-pumps-vsp-s-in-parallel
However, I am still getting the error message. pump definition, VSP type, control node, Target head type, pressure target, relative speed factor and control node on suction are all identical across all three pumps.
Thank you,
Nastassja
Nastassja, can you provide the wording of the message you're getting, and a screenshot of the pump station? Or, a copy of the model for review? (File > Save to Package) - Sharing Hydraulic Model Files on the OpenFlows Forum

This is the exact message I am getting:
41500 "P2.4 Transient Max Day EPS 24 hr" "Pump" "1548" "PMP-700" (N/A) "Different target heads for the same control node are not allowed." Pressure Engine
Are you sure the target heads are exactly the same (maybe try re-typing the values?) for all VSPs that are referencing that control node? Is it possible that pumps outside of the pump station in question are accidentally referring to that control node? Maybe try checking all of them in the pump Flextable.
If this does not help, please provide a copy of the model per the link in my previous reply.
You can also try Compacting the database per this recent discussion.
I did already try retyping in the control node pressure values and no other pumps are set to target pressure. I have also tried compacting the database per another forum question response I read to a similar problem.
I provided the model a few minutes ago.
