Hi,
I have three VSPs in parallel and as far as I can tell they follow the criteria outlined in this article for VSPs.
https://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/38721/modeling-variable-speed-pumps-vsp-s-in-parallel
However, I am still getting the error message. pump definition, VSP type, control node, Target head type, pressure target, relative speed factor and control node on suction are all identical across all three pumps.
Thank you,
Nastassja
Nastassja, can you provide the wording of the message you're getting, and a screenshot of the pump station? Or, a copy of the model for review? (File > Save to Package) - Sharing Hydraulic Model Files on the OpenFlows Forum

This is the exact message I am getting:
41500 "P2.4 Transient Max Day EPS 24 hr" "Pump" "1548" "PMP-700" (N/A) "Different target heads for the same control node are not allowed." Pressure Engine
I did already try retyping in the control node pressure values and no other pumps are set to target pressure. I have also tried compacting the database per another forum question response I read to a similar problem.
I provided the model a few minutes ago.
It looks like only the .WTG and .DWH files are uploaded. Please go to File > Save to Package and upload the resulting ZIP file which will contain all the files necessary to open the model. Please then reply back to let us know that the model has been uploaded.
I just uploaded it again. One of the files failed last time.
Thanks, the problem is that the target hydraulic grades actually are different, but you are using target pressure. Most likely you had a value set when using hydraulic grade as the type, then decided to switch to pressure. Please change the target type to hydraulic grade for PMP-600, change the target hydraulic grade to zero (to match the others), then change the type back to pressure.
This is a bug that our developers will seek to fix in the next release, reference # 501653.
This is now documented in the following new wiki article: User Notification: "Different target heads for the same control node are not allowed."

That did the trick. Thank you!
