Hi,
I am analysing a model in Hammer and my maximum air/vapour volume is at some distance from pump but not close to the pump.
Nearly all junctions are at same elevation.
And air/vapour volume is spike at some distance from pump not a parabola shape.
Is this right profile?
Generally speaking air and vapor pockets are only tracked at the specific point of formation and do not travel down the pipeline. See: Assumptions and limitations of tracking air or vapor pockets in HAMMER
It is possible that the air or vapor pocket is forming at a local high point. Be sure to animate a profile path to visualize what happens during the transient simulation: Using Transient Results Viewer animations for visualizing a transient simulation

Model output is only as good as the input and the modeler's understanding of the software and its assumptions. If you have not done so already, be sure to review the learning material available (such as the full course on our YouTube channel).
If you have any specific questions, we are glad to help. You can search in our Wiki or submit a new forum post if you cannot find what you need in the Wiki.
