rotating model

is there a way to rotate/move my existing watercad model, so it matches my backgrounds layers ?

Hello, 
 There isn't a direct way to do this in the standalone version. If you work in another platform (AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcMap), you may be able to use the tools available there to rotate the model. However, it may be easier to rotate the background layer in the native platform instead.
