Assigning elevations using TRex in WaterGEMS

Hello Bentley Community,

I have an already existing model and I realized that a lot of junctions and hydrants have wrong elevations. I have an updated shapefile with correct elevations. Is there a way to just import the elevations from this shapefile using TRex to correct the elevations? I would like to know what would be the best approach to resolve this.

Thanks,

  • Hello Shyam,

If you the updated contours shapefile / DXF file, with correct elevations, then you can simply import those elevations using TRex, which will then update elevations of the junctions to correct elevations. Or you have shapefile with node information i.e. point shapefile with elevations data in it? You can import DXF point file as well to import the elevation data.

There are multiple ways to import elevations using TRex, please go through below wiki.

    Using Terrain Extractor (Trex)
