I am using Bentley WaterGEMS,
I want to know the following:
1. How can I open Bentley WaterGEMS in ArcGIS interface?
2. How to address the GIS Object ID issue, If we have one single pipe with a GIS Object ID. Now we want to split it in to 4 pipes to add a branch, valves etc. How to address this in WaterGEMS. The split pipe will have new pipe number and missing ID or we can put a suffix or prefix to that pipe.?
3. How to activate / deactivate pipes in the model? Long time back I used, now I have forgot.
4. I have imported the pipes through model builder successfully. I have system valves in the shapefiles. How can I import the valves and connect it to the pipes. For examples, If I want to import the valves and make it as isolation valves and link it to pipes.
To add to Joeri's response, here is an article with more details on the use of the batch pipe split feature: Using batch pipe split to fix nodes that overlay a pipe instead of connecting to it

Thank you so much. It was really helpful.
You can use the Batch Pipe Split tool for this (Tools Tab -> More (under the Tools header) -> Batch Pipe Split), you can review the potential pipe splits in advance by using the Pipe Split Candidates query in the Navigator (Analysis -> Navigator (under the Analysis Views header) -> Network Review -> Pipe Split Candidates).
In GIS, I have a pipe shapefile with single line of pipe of 7m length (as shown below highlighted in CYAN color). There are valves (Green), pumps (Red) shapefiles that are located at the intermediate locations along the pipe as shown below. The pipe is not split at the Valves and Pump features in the GIS shapefile, as it is a single line. Now while importing it through the Model builder in the waterGEM, is it possible to connect pipe and valves through spatial join? Or how it can be connected to Valves and Pumps.?
Thank you so much. This helped me
