Hello,
I have a fairly complex model with ~46 pressure zones. I used the Pressure Zone Analysis Tool to color code the zones. However, there is one particular area that seems like it should be its own zone, but the model isn't separating it. There is either a PRV or closed TCV on all "inlets/outlets" of the zone. There is no 'color-break' across two of the valves, indicating the pressure zone boundary is open. Any tips or suggestions? Can I send you my model file so you can take a look?

Thanks,

Hi Jose, how is your Pressure Zone Manager configured? (the Options tab) Is it possible that there are overlapping pipes going around the closed valve? (try clicking and dragging it away or add a vertex to the pipe and click+drag). You can also try using the Network Navigator Queries to locate connected elements and duplicate pipes (overlapping) for clues.
If this does not help, please provide a copy of the model and reply with the file name and specific steps to reproduce: Sharing Hydraulic Model Files on the OpenFlows Forum

Jesse,
Went to the Pressure Zone Manger and changed the setting for the throttle control valve to 'Use Always', re-ran it and the boundaries fixed. I then changed the settings back to the original (was set to 'Use When Closed') and it still ran correctly. So not sure if the model had a glitch or what, but I think it is working correctly now. Thanks!
