Problem starting the SewerGEMS

Good morning Bentley team

I have a problem when starting the SewerGEMS program and it is the one reflected below, and it has not really been possible to solve the problem presented.
I look forward to your response, thank you

  • Jefry,

Here are some initial troubleshooting questions for you:

    1. Does this error appear when opening SewerGEMS itself, or when opening a model?
    2. Did the problem suddenly start occurring or did something recently change? (new installation, upgraded version, new model, etc)
    3. What version of SewerGEMS are you using? (if you are able to, check under File > Help > About). The latest version is currently 10.03.04.53 and you can find information on upgrading here. If you are not already on the latest version and are able to upgrade, it is recommended.
    4. If it happens when opening a model, does it happen with every model? (try opening one of the sample files included in the Samples folder within the SewerGEMS installation folder)
    5. If the error occurs with a specific model only, try copying only the .STSW and .STSW.SQLITE files to a new folder on your local hard drive and try again (this will help rule out problems with output files or other supporting files). If this does not help and the problem is model-specific, please provide a copy of the model: Sharing Hydraulic Model Files on the OpenFlows Forum
    6. If the error occurs with any model or when opening SewerGEMS itself (before opening a model),
      1. What are the specific steps taken to open SewerGEMS? (just the desktop shortcut?)
      2. Have you tried restarting your computer or reinstalling SewerGEMS? (or a clean reinstallation per the steps here?)
      3. If you are able to access the menu items, try resetting the workspace per the steps here.
      4. If your Windows regional/language options are not set to US/English, are you able to temporarily try changing them as a test to see if it helps resolve the issue?

  • Jesse,
    1. Appears when opening the model. 2. It started suddenly. 3. Version 10.00.00.40 64 bits. 4. It happens with all models.
