To add to Sushma's response - if you're not able to use the information in the post to extract the text from the DXF, here are some other possible options:

If you are using Civil 3D, you can convert the text objects to elevations provided the text objects have the correct X and Y coordinates. See this article on the Civil 3D forum: To Move Text to An Elevation
Once that CAD file is generated, export it as a DXF and then use "DXF Points" as the source in Terrain Extractor (TREX). The elevations will be then assigned to the nodes.
